PREPARED FOR REIDSVILLE BUILDING SUPPLY · NOVEMBER 2026

YOUR PLAN,
IN MOTION.

Ken’s strategy calls for RBS to become the region’s most trusted strategic partner for builders. We took the four topics tagged for Jason and turned them into a website direction, a sourced market picture, a plan-to-materials example, and a practical inventory path.

REIDSVILLE, NC · BUILDER PARTNERSHIPRESEARCH SNAPSHOT / NOVEMBER 2026
WHAT THE PLAN IS REALLY ASKING FOR

SIX PRIORITIES.
ONE BUILDER PROMISE.

The plan connects strategic partner growth, operational efficiency, inventory excellence, supplier strength, value-added services, and community positioning. The digital experience should make that promise visible while the operation earns it every day.

THE FOUR ASSIGNMENTS, WITH WORK BEHIND THEM

WE DID
THE HOMEWORK.

Each topic in the plan has a concrete observation and a visible example. The deeper demos are there if the conversation goes there.

01 / WEBSITE REDESIGNTHE FRONT DOOR

MAKE THE
PARTNER PROMISE
VISIBLE.

RBS’s current About and Services pages still say “Coming soon.” Its quote form already captures useful job context. The proposed homepage builds on that intake and presents RBS as a builder’s partner from the first screen.

02 / RECENT PERMITSTHE NEARBY MARKET
160 SOURCED
RECORDS

September new-home records from seven issuing offices reveal work across North Carolina and Henry County, Virginia. Henry and Pittsylvania county lines are each about 13 straight-line miles from RBS. Henry has three located sites in a county payment report; Pittsylvania and Danville appear as estimated office areas without invented pins.

One completed, assisted plan analysis in the Woodall workflow produced a source-linked Excel list across five disciplines. The example shows five sanitized lines from that result; the customer’s drawings are not shown.

04 / INVENTORY SYSTEMTHE OPERATING PATH

KNOW WHAT
CAN BE PROMISED.
THEN PROMISE IT.

Start with reliable product, unit, bundle, and bin data. Make receiving and cycle counts trustworthy. Then connect approved material lists to reservations, picks, supplier options, and delivery. Forecasting has value after the stock picture is credible.

Permit records are a September 2026 research snapshot, not a complete live regional feed. The Woodall example is a sanitized handoff from completed work; inventory screens and future RBS workflows are illustrative.

THE ORDER IN KEN’S PLAN

START WITH
THE PEOPLE AND THE YARD.

The strategy’s next-step page gives a sensible sequence for making the website and operating promises credible.

01

ASK THE BUILDERS.

Put the concept in front of existing strategic partners. Learn what would earn more of their work and where today’s process slows them down.

02

BRING THE TEAM IN.

Roll out the strategy to staff so the builder promise has a shared meaning at the desk, in purchasing, and in the yard.

03

BASELINE THE WORK.

Advance 5S and measure the current process: quote turnaround, count accuracy, stockouts, pick-to-load time, and delivery reliability.

04

PILOT THE VISIBLE MOVES.

Test the redesigned site and recent-permit view with builders. Validate the plan-to-list service and expand inventory promises as the data proves ready.

READY FOR THE FIRST CONVERSATION

LET’S WALK
THE JOB TOGETHER.

The strongest first meeting is a critique of the work: what RBS wants builders to feel, what the team can reliably deliver now, and which pilot would prove the next promise.
